 It  is the policy of the Robertson County Carnegie Library that personal  information will be collected only to the extent necessary to provide  desired service or benefit; only appropriate information will be  collected; library staff will explain to the patrons the reason for  which any information is collected and be able to examine their personal  records maintained by a public entity.

Personal Information:
      The  Robertson County Carnegie Library does not require its patrons to  provide any personal information when using its Web site. In the event  that you request information from us, it may be necessary for our  patrons to provide enough information to process your request.

Cookies:
      The  Robertson County Carnegie Library does not place any http or web  cookies on your computer. This means we do not save any information  about our patrons or your visit on your computer.

Information from E-mail You Send to Us:
      If  you decide to send us an electronic mail message (e-mail), the message  will usually contain your return e-mail address. If you include  personally identifying information in your e-mail because you want us to  address issues specific to your situation we may use that information  in responding to your request. We do not distribute lists of e-mail  addresses to any parties outside The Robertson County Carnegie Library.  Except as required by law, we do not share our e-mail with any outside  organizations. Also, e-mail inquires sent to The Robertson County  Carnegie Library are not secure or confidential.

      Our  Web site has links to other Web sites you may find interesting or  relevant. These other sites may send their won cookies to your PC,  collect data, or solicit personal information.       Please  notify your librarian in writing that you no longer wish to receive  e-mail from The Robertson County Carnegie Library.

      We  will never sell or rent individual information with anyone for their  promotional use without your advance permission or unless ordered by a  court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to the  librarian and volunteers managing this information for the purposes of  contacting you or sending e-mails based on your request for information  concerning the circulation of books burrowed by you or updating you on  library events.
